The project behind the SlimLine 1410 was conceived specifically to develop a solution for the fully automated production of hollow gravure cylinders in flexible packaging.
As an integral component of this manufacturing concept, the Finishstar SlimLine 1410 produces homogeneous and wear-resistant copper and chrome surfaces. Key features include a cost-effective design, space-saving build and high level of automation.

Designed exclusively to be run in a SlimLine-1410 line, the Finishstar SlimLine 1410 uses a fully automatic cone clamping system to hold cylinders in place. The optional automatic keyway cover stops polishing water from penetrating inside the cylinder.

To support an optimum production process with maximum output, we offer the machine either as a single-head chrome polishing machine with a maintenance hatch for changing HelioMicrofinishing belts during production or a triple-head copper polishing machine equipped with two stone and one belt grinding head. We use the proven pneumatic infeed polishing units from the Daetwyler Graphics product range.
